Mini Banana Split Bites

These Banana Split Bites make a healthy dessert or fun snack for your kids. They are so light and cool and perfect to help fight the summer heat!

They have all the flavors of a frosty banana split – banana, chocolate, whipped cream, sprinkles, and even a cherry – but in bite-sized form.

They only take a few minutes to make and your kids can even join in the fun!

Description

These Mini Banana Splits are the perfect healthy, bite-sized treat!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 Large Bananas
  • Melted Chocolate
  • Sprinkles
  • Cool Whip or Whip Cream 
  • Cherries

Instructions

  1. Use firm bananas peel and cut into 2-3 inch sections. 
  2. Melt chocolate per package directions. Dip the bottom portion of each banana into the melted chocolate, covering about 1/4 of each piece, then dip it in sprinkles and coat well. 
  3. Set aside and let harden for about 15 minutes.
  4. Place the whipped topping into a piping bag or plastic bag, and pipe a small dollop onto the top of each banana.
  5. Place a cherry on top of each banana.

Notes

To quickly harden the chocolate, place dipped bananas in the freezer for five minutes.

  • Cook Time: 15 minutes
