A (FINALLY!) FALL-READY FRONT DOOR SCAPE

I feel like the last person on earth to finally have my front door space decorated for fall, but just in case I’m not the only one, I thought I’d share my front door refresh for anyone looking for some inspiration.

My fall décor this year consists of two faux decorative planter inserts flanking the front door, fresh mums and some different sized and shaped pumpkins. I wanted a sumptuous bounty that just screamed “Welcome, Fall!” After all, your front porch is the first-place guests see when coming to your home and the only space the whole neighborhood sees so I strive to make it feel welcoming and inviting.

I mirrored a few of the main components on each side, but didn’t want it to appear completely symmetrical so I clustered the pumpkins differently on either side for a more curated look and worked my way down one step with one of the mums. I also flipped THIS crate over to elevate one of the mums to give it more of a cascading look.

I found these great faux planter inserts HERE. The planters I put them in, I got many years ago, but HERE are some similar ones. THESE are the planters I used for the mums.

I got all my mums and pumpkins from Pike. I always feel they have a much better selection than Home Depot or Lowes.

My wreath is sold out, but HERE is a similar one.

You can shop my front door welcome mat HERE and the outdoor rug layered underneath HERE.

This refresh was especially easy, because unlike spring when I plant everything, this time I just dropped the fresh and faux plants in planters. The whole refresh took less than 30 minutes to complete!

Happy fall decorating!
