Summer has always been the time of year when we kick back, relax and enjoy slowing down a little. Itβs also one of my favorite times of the year to entertain. We host plenty of BBQs where we pull out the paper plates, but there are some days we want to enjoy a slightly more formal setting with friends. For those occasions, itβs still a priority for me to make my table as low-maintenance as possible, easy to set up, and easy to clean up. I mean, why spend a ton of time on your table when there are pools to swim in and sangria to drink? Priorities, right?!
I designed a tablescape that is easy to recreate, simple, elegant and earthy.
I wanted my centerpiece simple and easy, something you can put together in just minutes. I bought a bouquet of flowers from Costco, trimmed the stems and put them in a vase I had at home.
I layered white dishes on top of brown wicker chargers and topped each place setting with bowls. The bowls are the perfect size for a small soup or salad.
This bamboo handle silverware compliments the white, bamboo rimmed plates perfectly and keeps in tone with everything feeling very summery.
As far as table linens go, I opted for a table runner instead of a tablecloth and found these great cloth napkins on Amazon.
So pull out your dishes and have fun setting a summer table for your friends and family to enjoy.
Happy summer entertaining!!

Thank you! The silverware are so versatile, they really go with so much.
I’ll be putting a post together soon with all the details. We had so much fun, but I’m exhausted! I saw you were in Florida as well, I wish we were in the same place so we could have met up.
