These Chocolate Bunny Cups are the perfect Easter treat for your little ones. They’re so easy to make, you literally only need two ingredients.
They’re an egg-cellent idea! So let’s “hop” to the details.
When it comes to the chocolate bunnies, make sure they are hollow inside. THESEare my favorite ones. They’re the perfect size, tasty, and have a more classic look. Plus, your local grocer/drug store should carry them.
As for the presentation, I wanted them to look more simple and classic, so I popped off the eyes and ribbon. Then using a very sharp knife, I cut off the ears to create an opening. Finally, I filled each cup with milk, added a straw and some cute spring flowers.
The only real effort you need to make to create these Chocolate Bunnies is using the best, sharpest knife possible. Pro tip:it helps to heat up the knife before you do the cutting!
Start by boiling some water. Once water is boiled, pour some boiling hot water over both sides of knife for about 15 seconds and dry it off immediately. Create an opening above the head by cutting the ears off. I cut through 3 before pouring more boiling water over my knife again. If you want a quicker option, run the knife under really hot faucet water and then dry it off before cutting.
You can also make an adult version of these by adding Godiva Liqueur or Bailey’s to create a tasty chocolate bunny cocktail.
