Movie Night

My Pinterest feed is already filling up with Fall pins and while my blog calendar is also heading in that direction, I’m not quite ready to let go of summer just yet! The end of summer is always bittersweet… I’m ready for a routine but I will miss our relaxed days together! We have less than a week to soak up the last few days of summer vacation, so we thought let’s invite some friends over and have a movie night.

We all know the best part of movie night is the SNACKS, right? Sweet and salty favorites like popcorn, candy, treats… we’ve got it all in this concession stand!

Of course, what’s a movie without popcorn? I found a great popcorn machine. It’s the perfect size for a small get together and sits on the counter. We served a few popcorn seasonings so guests could customize a little bit.

I also found these popcorn boxes and napkins. There were the perfect size and disposable for easy cleanup.  

I went down the sweet’s aisle at the grocery store to pick up some candy and chocolate. I served them in jars and added labels to them. I placed all the jars and a scoop on a tray so guests would easily be able to scoop what they wanted out into cups.  

FLAVOR TIP: Try to balance out the sweet and salty and the textures from crunchy to chewy! 

As for drinks, I kept it simple with different flavored Izzy drinks.

These snack trays fit the popcorn boxes and candy cups perfectly.
